"AND A CHILD SHALL LEAD THEM..."
"You have made Saint Lucy's a fortress against the evil of today's world, an oasis where, away from the dryness of society's lies and cheating, we, like our parents, can come to refresh ourselves at the table of God's goodness, among his faithful friends. Thank you and God bless you for helping to make us better children of God and citizens of this great country."

Planted by the Great Gardener Himself
It seems that the Lord must have thought one day to have for himself a beautiful garden.
So He chose the loveliest flowers, children, and gathered to Himself the wisest gardeners, a few priests and faithful.
He rained upon them His Body and Blood and 'sunned' them with the warmth of His love. His garden gave forth blooms of kindness and truth.
So pleased was He with the work of his hands, He called to St. Lucy to say, "Take and guard this for Me, for, like you, it is filled with loyalty, sacrifice, and love."
